Jessica Gritti, PhD in the History of Architecture at the Università IUAV in Venice (2008), is adjunct professor and research fellow at the Department of Architecture and Urban Studies of the Politecnico di Milano – where she is a member of the research project The duke’s city. The policy of images in Sforza’s Milan – and guest professor in the History of modern architecture at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. She also collaborated with several museums and institutions for scientific catalogues and exhibitions, like the Palazzo Reale for Expo Milan 2015, the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana, the Museod’Arte Antica of the Castello Sforzesco in Milan, the Musei Civici in Pavia, the National Gallery of Art in London. Her skills of expertise focus on the architectural culture of the 15th and 16th centuries, especially in northern Italy, with particular attention to architectural drawings, Florentine architectural commissions in Milan and some aspects of Bramante’s activity in Lombardy.
