Fulvio Irace is full professor at the Politecnico di Milano where he holds the chair of Contemporary History and Criticism at the School of Design. He is also visiting professor at the Mendrisio Academy of Architecture and member of the academic board of the PhD in Design at the Politecnico di Milano. Past member of the scientific Committee of Vico Magistretti Foundation (Milano), he is on the board of trustees of Renzo Piano Foundation (Genova). From 2008 he has been appointed in the jury of Mies van der Rohe European Prize, the prestigious award sponsored by the EC and the Fundaciò Mies van der Rohe (Barcellona). From 2005 to 2009 he has served as Curator in Chief for Architecture at the Triennale di Milano. Senior editor for architecture for “Domus” (1980-86) and “Abitare” (1987-2007), he has contributed to magazines such as “A+U”, “Architectural Review” and “Casabella”. His most recent works include “Codice Mendini” (2016) and “Gio Ponti: Amare l’Architettura” (2019).
