Vittoriano Viganò and the design of a school for architects as a lesson of architecture Andrea Gritti (1967) is a PhD architect, tenured researcher in architectural and urban composition at the Department of Architecture and Urban Studies (DAStU) and professor of architectural design at the Scuola di Architettura, Urbanistica e Ingegneria delle Costruzioni (AUIC) of the Politecnico di Milano. In 2019 he has been a visiting professor at the École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture of Marseille. Since 2017 he is a member of the Board of ProArch, the Italian Scientific Society of architectural design teachersh. He studies the theories and practices of recovering, reusing and recycling the architecture, the city and the territory, publishing his researches in monographies, collective books and scientific journal. From July 2018 he is visiting researcher at the Accademia di Architettura of Mendrisio where he carries out research dedicated to the architectural work of Vittoriano Viganò, in preparation for the celebrations for the centenary of his birth.
